As we get closer to Eli's due date, we've had more in-depth conversations of how we want to raise our children. We have talked about discipline, life lessons, nutrition, and education. First and foremost, we want to instill a Catholic foundation in our children. Our spirituality is a big part of our lives and we want the same for our children. An active prayer life is a great way to lay the foundation for our kiddos to begin a close relationship with Our Lord.
One of the blogs that I follow posted "10 Prayers to Teach Catholic Children". I attached the link on the picture if you would like to see the prayers.
They have the traditional prayers Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be. They also have the Memorare, St. Michael Prayer, and Prayer Before Meals.
This is a great bookmark to go back to when our children are a bit older and we can start to say them daily.
