Pumpkin Decorating 2015

This year we decided not to carve our pumpkin, but to decorate it with stickers. It was a little different, but less messy.
Marley came over to join in on the fun and the kids had a great time putting the stickers wherever they wanted.

Completely engrossed in the stickers
Of course, they wouldn't look at the camera to show off their artwork, but oh well.
He kept adding stickers, even when we were done.
The best picture I got of him with his pumpkin.

30 Weeks

I'm at 30 weeks with Miss Andie Rose. Not too much further to go. When the doctor said that I was 3/4 of the way through pregnancy it really hit me that she will be here sooner than we realize.
At 30 weeks, I'm feeling pretty pregnant. It's getting harder to get out of bed and I'm getting tired more often. Swelling is starting to kick in, much later than when I was pregnant with Eli. Other than that, this has been a wonderful pregnancy. Eli felt Andie move for the first time and jerked his hand back when she kicked him. I think he's a little frightened of little sister, but he loves to pat my belly and say, "Baby!"
Chris wanted to show off his belly at the Arboretum.
And showing it off in front of Big Tex at the State Fair.

Here are my stats for Andie:
Baby size: the size of a cabbage
Weight gain: I hit the 12 pound mark, but lost a pound between my two week appointments
Sleep: Sleeping more due to being plain old tired; I can't lie on stomach much anymore, and I wake up frequently on my back.
Cravings: Chinese food, Mrs. Grass soup, chocolate, Big Red soda, and sno cones
Repulsions: BBQ brisket, steak, the smell of the pork roast I made on Sunday
Miss anything: wine, being able to play longer with Eli, getting out of bed normally, not having so much sciatic pain
Looking forward: Eli feeling Andie kick more, maternity Halloween costume.lol
Odd fact: At 30 weeks, I was plagued with the stomach bug. I had never been sick while being pregnant, other than morning sickness, and it was awful. I don't wish that on anyone. My poor Andie was starving, but I couldn't keep anything down for awhile. Hoping that it doesn't come back to our house.
***Update: I forgot to mention that I entered a cupcake eating contest at school for a pep rally. I had to eat 12 mini cupcakes against these big burly football boys and teachers. I was actually beating everyone and had I known that I was so far ahead, I would've stopped and swallowed a bit. But, I didn't and when it came to the 12th cupcake I couldn't swallow and my eyes started watering. I ran for the trash can and everything came up. It was pretty gross. My kids were really proud of me though and Andie was dancing in my tummy the rest of the day on her sugar high!

Eli's 2nd Birthday Party

We had Eli's 2nd birthday party on Halloween. It was on Saturday this year and we had it during lunchtime.
HEB did a great job in creating Eli's cake.
We had pizza and we added plastic spiders to give it a gruesome look.
Our Halloween spread
Our little "Elliott" with E.T.
My nephew and niece enjoying the party
There were kids everywhere
But, it was so much fun to see everyone dressed up
Singing "Happy Birthday" to Eli
He loved the cake part
A group picture of everyone dressed up
And my dogs were done after being host and hostess to everyone.

I can't believe my baby is 2 and our Andie will be here in a few short weeks. Time goes by so quickly and I am blessed to have my husband and children in my life.
