Eli is Eight Months Old

Eli is 8 months old!

He's chubbier these days. His chunky thighs make me smile. He's a happy little guy who loves to observe and then mimic.

 He's had a few milestones this month

 He moved up into size 3 diapers

 He is picking up food and self-feeding

 He was having a great time playing with my grandad

 He had a sleepover with his cousin, Marley

 They partied hard

 We attended Mommy and Me swim classes

We learned that Eli is a fish and fearless in the water

 Eli cheered on England in the World Cup

 We went to an 50th wedding anniversary and I snagged a few pics of this sharp dressed boy

 He's learning how to help Daddy with work

 He still loves bath time

 He's a fish

 And he has crazy bed head after nap time

Eli's Trip to San Antonio

One of my best friends from college is getting married next April. She is a great friend and we cannot wait to celebrate her marriage next year. She still lives in San Antonio and since my mom was going down there for work I thought Eli and I could tag along to see her.

On the road to San Antonio...he was such a trooper until the last hour. He was ready to get out and tour the city.

 Eli took me on a lunch date to Chick-Fil-A. He did so well at the restaurant and didn't throw too much food on the floor.

 We went swimming in the pool and were lucky enough to be the only ones there.

 We chilled and enjoyed the water.

 Eli was not too excited for dinner that evening

 But, the boy does love to people watch.

 Eli got to meet my college mate. He really was excited to see her, but it just happened to be during his nap time.

 Eli got a present from her, too.

 

  I think he loved the tissue paper more than the books, though.

 My mom watched Eli for the evening while I went out to watch the Spurs game with my friends.

 While we were on our trip Eli learned how to pull himself up! 

He was so proud!
