Family Vacation 2015

My mom and dad's Christmas present to us was taking us on a week long trip to stay in a beach house in Florida. We had such a great time making memories with our family.
Eli was eager to sit on Daddy's lap and enjoy the ride.
Our family plane selfie
Eli chilled the whole time by alternating between sitting with Daddy and Poppy.
When we finally got to the beach, this little guy was ready to play in the sand.
He loved to put the sand in his bucket.
Making a sand castle
Putting sand all over himself
Our family beach picture
Eli wanted to wear Gammy's glasses
Revealing to our family that we are expecting a little GIRL!! I love that we reveal to our family on vacations.
Playing in the pool at the beach house
Card Night
Working on a puzzle
Chris showing off his muscles
We were having so much fun in the pool
Dinner time.
We alternated each day as to which family would make dinner.
Ready to eat
We were always in the kitchen
On the last day, we went on a dolphin cruise
But, we got rained out and never saw any dolphins
We enjoyed our last night at Red Bar
 Enjoying vacation with my sister
We had such a great time and I can't wait until we do it all again...with more babies!!

22 Weeks

22 weeks was a fun experience in Las Vegas with my girl cousins, aunts, sister, and mom. We had a great time hanging out and laughing with each other. I took this picture on our way to see Jersey Boys at Paris Casino. My stomach is protruding more and more. I felt very pregnant in Vegas as we walked frequently and my sciatic nerve kicked my butt, literally. I made up for the walking by sitting to play the slot machines. I didn't win much, but had a great time with my family.
Here are my stats for Baby G:
Baby size: the size of a spaghetti squash
Weight gain: 6 pounds
Sleep: A bit more energy, but still needing my naps; able to lie on stomach still
Cravings: Chinese food, pizza, wine, and sno cones
Repulsions: BBQ brisket, steak, and the smell of garlic
Miss anything: margaritas, able to pick up Eli with more ease, and my energy
Looking forward: feeling Andie kicking outside my belly; I can't wait for Eli to feel what her kicks feel like
Odd fact: It was really awkward having a Chippendales' dancer rub my belly while we were touring downtown Las Vegas.

20 Weeks

At 20 weeks, I felt pretty good. We went on vacation to Florida and revealed what our newest little Gilburt is. During this time, my body began to feel and look like I have a baby inside. Regular clothes were no longer fitting comfortably and it was time to put on the maternity clothes. Trying to stay cool and remembering to drink plenty of water were the hardest parts in Florida. I learned the hard way on Day 2 and spent the rest of the afternoon with my stomach cramping because I didn't drink enough water. From then on out I made sure I had water and went inside when I got too warm.
Here are my stats for Baby G:
Baby size: the size of a small artichoke
Weight gain: 3 pounds
Sleep: A bit more energy, but still needing my naps; able to lie on stomach still
Cravings: Chinese food, pickles, pizza, wine, and sno cones
Repulsions: BBQ brisket, the smell of garlic
Miss anything: wine, able to pick up Eli with more ease, and my energy
Looking forward: Revealing to everyone that we are having a GIRL!! My predictions and dreams were correct.
Odd fact: My doctor told me at my 20 week appointment that he would be leaving his practice here in Ennis. Chris and I were a bit upset, but understood his leaving to be closer to his family. I have an appointment with a doctor that was recommended by my old doctor and will see him at my 23 week appointment.

Eli's First Texas Rangers Game

While we had Chris's sister and nephew in town, we took them to a Texas Rangers baseball game. They had never been to a baseball game before and neither had Eli. It was a first for a few people.
This preggie was hungry and Monster Nachos filled my tummy. Although I hardly made a dent in the nachos, they were delicious.
Eli had a great time cheering, clapping, and eating.
 He loved the lemon chill.
He was people watching a lot too.
He pointed at Captain, the mascot.
The guys hanging out
I took the boys to a photo booth and got these adorable pictures.
Family time
 He loves his daddy
Our nephew having a great time
Our little family
The ride home. These guys were zonked.
And my favorite picture of the night. It doesn't get any more American than this. I love to see my boys just wanting to be together.
